We travel into space to understand our world
The 4º Grade Students are thrilled with everything they are learning in this Inquiry Unit on the transdisciplinary theme “How the World Works” which explores the central idea of “Human exploration leads to understanding the world.”
The solar system is one of the highlights they are working on, so we decided to complement their learning with a visit to the Lunar Museum.
They took a guided tour of the museum facilities to learn all about how rockets, spacecraft, and the Apollo missions that took humans to the moon operate. They also participated in a final STEAM workshop to expand their knowledge of rockets and spacecraft.
In summary, once again, this hands-on learning makes all the work meaningful. Congratulations to the students for always wanting to learn more; you are tireless.
