Close your eyes and think… With whom would you like to make peace?

As every year on the 30th of January we celebrate the school day of peace and non-violence.

This year the primary students wanted to celebrate this day together with their religion and values teachers by creating a peace museum where all visitors can learn about different people who have made this world a better place.

The tour of the museum takes us through the figures of Gandhi, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Malala, Jeremy Gilley, Martin Luther King and Rigoberta Menchú.

The museum has an interactive activity that encourages students to reflect through this message: “Close your eyes, think… Who would you make peace with? The pupils have coloured cards where they can write their answer and leave it on a large mural that invites us to remember how important it is to feel at peace with oneself and with others.
