After several months of training, study and several qualifying rounds our great chess team made it to the final of the long awaited ISP online chess tournament. This tournament is played worldwide with all schools belonging to ISP around the world, more than 60 schools playing and sharing the same experience.
On the one hand, the senior team, with secondary school students, and on the other hand, the junior team, made up of primary school students. All of them nervous and eager to give their all in the long awaited encounter with the best players who have made it this far.

The first regional phase was played on 13th November with schools from Spain. Our results were very good and they managed to get through to the semi-finals, where they faced schools from Europe in January.

Also on this occasion our children demonstrated their good work and everything they had learnt, finishing in the top positions and making it through to the final and facing schools from other countries such as India and Malaysia.

On the 7th of February the final took place, and pending final results, players from both the junior and senior teams, managed to be in the top 10 of the best players of the tournament.

In addition, as if that were not enough, our students are also having great results in external competitions:
Victor A. has been runner-up in the Nuestra Señora de la Vega Tournament.
And Álvaro R. finished 4th in the Moncloa-Aravaca tournament.
In addition, Victor and Yanay have qualified for the tournament of the Community of Madrid!

Undoubtedly a great success and reward for the great work done, not only for being present in the final but for the opportunity to share such an enriching experience!

Congratulations team!
