Virtual Buddy Exchange Programme (ILOS)

It is common knowledge that the best way to immerse yourself in the culture of another country and embark on a journey of meaningful personal growth is to live there. Aravaca International fosters these important life skills with the Buddy Exchange Programme (ILOS).

This programme offers our students the opportunity to travel the world online, go beyond their own school community and virtually meet other ISP students from around the world. Each week there are 45-minute supervised video calls in which students practise language, presentation and personal skills in English.

Last term, our students Andrea R, Jaime M, and Joao S. had the opportunity to meet children from Ecuador, Malaysia, Emirates, Qatar and the United States through their iPads. With the VBEP they not only improved their knowledge of these cultures, but also made friends for life.
