Internacional Aravaca, first school in Aravaca-Pozuelo to offer the IB Middle Years Programme

Last Monday, May 22nd, after three years of hard and constant work, and after the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) authorization visit, we were confirmed that we are now officially an IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) school, and we share this with all of you, with the pride and satisfaction of a job well done and of the team of professionals we have.

At IA, we continue to advance in our goal of providing internationally recognized curricula that prepare students to progress and make a difference. We are very proud to be one of the 46 schools in Spain to offer this program and one of the 16 in Madrid; being the first and only one in the Aravaca-Pozuelo area.

We have been working for some time according to the academic framework of the IB Middle Years Programme. This authorization endorses and confirms that, from the school, we were correctly following the standards established by IB and therefore it will not mean any significant change in what we have been doing so far. 

The IB is nowadays one of the most demanding curricula, its prestige is based on its worldwide recognition and on the importance of the development of the students not only at an academic level but also at an emotional and social level, developing in them the attributes of the IB community:

Obtaining this authorization is one more step towards becoming an IB World School with the 3 programs: PYP (authorized 2021), MYP (authorized 2023) and finally the IB Diploma expected for the 24-25 academic year.
