Once again this year we have opted for the CHANGE MAKERS grant!
Once again the students of the Eco School committee have been working to detect a problem in the community and find solutions to it. Although we are improving a lot and working hard, there are still learning spaces that can be improved and the chosen place has been the School Garden.
Throughout these years, little by little we have been able to enjoy the garden by working in it, studying nature and learning from and with it. But the time has come for this place to become a multidisciplinary space where everyone can continue learning. The pond needs a device to help us keep the water clean, the plants in the garden this year have not grown as they should because the soil is old and lacks nutrients so we need new soil and compost.
On the other hand we want this space to be a regular place to learn so we need awnings to protect us from the sun in the days of spring, summer and part of autumn. And finally, and this is what we are most excited about, we have planned a beautiful sensory path for the little ones.
In fact, as soon as it is finished, the classes will move to the School Garden.
