We discover Pixar’s creative process in “The Science of Pixar”.

The 5th grade students went on a field trip to the exhibition “The Science of Pixar” at Caixa Forum.

At this exposition they were able to learn about the process used for the creation of Pixar films and how technology and mathematics are an essential  aspect of achieving the final product.

They focused on each of the eight areas needed during the process: modeling, rigging, surfaces, sets and cameras, animation, simulation, lighting and rendering, discovering and exploring the real-world challenges faced by the Pixar production team.

Finally, they had a yoga session in the park thanks to our wonderful colleague Tasha. The students had an incredible day!
