Our Vegetable Garden
With the beginning of Spring and the study of different paintings by Van Gogh, children saw blooming fields, and said they could spot wild flowers and golden fields… They convinced us later of how interesting growing a vegetable garden in our school would be, and, above all, having the opportunity to see it grow every day.
Over this week we took one step forward: why is wheat green at the beginning of Spring? where are potatoes grown?
As Alex said: “I have grown tomatoes in my garden”…and hands on deck! We have grown potatoes and pulses in our vegetable garden, and we are looking forward to seeing them grow.
It is a different and more respectful way of interacting with nature and food.
