In 1st ESO, we play with Algebra

In 1st of Secondary, as part of our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, we are studying equations. But what better way to do it in a practical and, above all, fun way. Through the design and creation of a game, the students have had to put into practice all their knowledge of algebra and equations that they have been acquiring throughout the MYP planner.

Games increase the attractiveness of mathematics to students, and make students more positive when faced with somewhat complex content that they have never studied (such as equations).

Both the creation and the practice of the game itself will be the tool with which students learn and enjoy algebra.
