World Book Day

On April 23rd, we celebrated World Book Day, which has been dedicated to our outstanding poet and playwright Federico García Lorca.

Over the whole week, both preschoolers and primary students had the opportunity to share creative activities. From year 1 to year 6, children could show their inventiveness in our Rhyme literary contest, and year 6 also told a story about Nature to the 5-year olds; 4-year olds made up two amazing tales, shared them with the 3-year olds and recited the poem «La Tarara». Toddlers listened to the captivating story of St. George and the dragon.

Children also had the opportunity, as a final act before the weekend, to pick up books under the supervision of their teacher, from a wide selection and with a special emphasis on the PYP programme.
