MUSIC DEGREE PROGRAM

AT THE FOREFRONT OF SCHOOL MUSIC EDUCATION

Music is a unique pedagogical tool that brings enormous benefits in education, being an irreplaceable element to achieve a true integral formation. It is an incomparable way of personal expression, full of art and beauty, which enriches the soul and opens it to others. Under this firm conviction, Internacional Aravaca has placed itself at the forefront of school music education in Spain by developing an innovative, unique and exclusive musical pedagogical program: the Music Degree Program.

The Musical Degree is a continuous musical training program, sized by stages (Early Years, Primary and Secondary), which offers students who wish to access to musical studies of the highest quality.

It constitutes an entire musical pedagogical itinerary for the integration of musical studies of the highest excellence in the general educational program of the school, offering contents perfectly adapted to the different educational stages. Thus, for example, primary school students who opt for this program can combine school time with learning an instrument and participating in an orchestra, while receiving studies in Musical Language and Vocal and Auditory Education.

In addition, it has a large staff of teachers specialized in the different educational stages and in the various instrumental arts, highly qualified, with higher studies in music and passionate about teaching.

WHAT QUALIFICATION IS OBTAINED?

Every year, from the primary school stage, students are prepared to take their corresponding level of the official international exams of the prestigious Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, thus being able to obtain the qualification by degrees that it grants.

The ABRSM is the world’s leading institution in conducting examinations and assessments of music, with over 100 years of experience and expertise in the field of music education and has the support of four of the most important conservatories in the UK.

In addition, later on, at the Secondary School stage, those students who wish to do so have the option of being able to access the official elementary and professional music degree courses and obtain the corresponding official homologated qualification

WHO CAN JOIN?

The Musical Grade Program is open to students in Early Years and 1st grade of Primary School. Exceptionally, for the next academic year 2022/23, students in the 2nd year of Primary School will also be able to enter the program.
