Grefa ’13

Last Thursday, Year 5 visited the GREFA centre in Majadahonda. During our visit we discovered that the centre has an animal hospital which specialises in taking care of injured wild animals. The centre’s vets and nurses work tirelessly to heal the injured animals.
After curing them, they don´t keep them, they release them into their natural environment.
We saw different wild amphibians and birds such as vultures, eagles and owls that were recovering from different illnesses.

After the visit we spent the rest of the day in the Pinar of Majadahonda where we had lunch and played a number of games.
