Aventura amazónica
Last Friday, May 10th, year three students went to Cercedilla to the “Aventura Amazónica” park. It was a beautiful, sunny day and it made for an unforgettable visit. In our video here you can see what exactly the kids got to do, playing from tree to tree. We got to go down zip-lines swing on ropes, walk on cables, hang from nets, all the while imagining ourselves as Tarzan. It was a truly inspiring visit as more than one child found themselves overcoming fear of heights and other anxieties. The kids really supported each other and we could hear calls of support and motivation all throughout the forest. This field trip is an amazing little get-a-away during which kids have the opportunity to learn so many different things. Our sack lunch was a perfect was to finish up our day and relax in the beautiful forest. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon!
