We raised €5,000 for the children of Chumvi

This year we wanted to collaborate again with the NGO Idea Libre to ensure the education of many children in the Kenyan village of Chumvi.

And for this, we have had a lot of help from students, teachers, the school community and… from all the families of IA!

Thanks to all the participation and donations from the families of the school, we were able to create four wonderful baskets full of illusion, solidarity and collaboration …. In addition to wines, cheeses, fruit, perfumes, hats, electric scooters, hotel stays… and much more! The truth is that these have been the most complete hampers we have had so far and we could not be prouder to have such collaborative and supportive families in the school.

Thank you all so much for helping Chumvi and Idea Libre!

As many of you already know, these hampers were raffled among all the ballots sold by our students during the month of December. They have worked hard on their power of conviction, oratory and argumentation to be able to sell as many as possible and thanks to all this and the sale of lollipops done by the primary students, we have been able to raise €5,000 for Chumvi. We are very happy!

Thanks to this donation, 25 children from Chumvi will be able to eat at the school and improve the quality of the food. Last year, for example, they ate fruit on Tuesdays and Thursdays and this year, they will be able to eat fruit every day. In addition, they will be able to eat meat every Monday, and not just once a month as they did last year.

In case anyone is curious about how the raffle of the solidarity baskets went, you can see the live video we made on Instagram where you can see how exciting our little solidarity Christmas lottery was.

So once again THANK YOU for helping us to help and for being part of this beautiful family that we are.
