Virtual Exchange Program 2024
During November the 1st Year ESO students had a unique experience participating in our school’s first online cultural exchange organized in collaboration with other ISP group schools. This time, our group of 1ºESO A was paired with Aubrick School in São Paulo, Brazil, and 1ºESO B with Manthan School, India.
As part of this activity, our students developed essential skills in communication, organization, and teamwork. First, each student introduced themselves to their Brazilian or Indian partner through an email exchange, followed by a group video call where everyone got to know each other and shared insights into their respective cultures.
During the first video call, English was used as the common language, allowing students from both countries to connect and share aspects of their cultures. The diversity within our classes, with students from up to eleven different nationalities, added a special element to the session. As a final activity, the Brazilian and Indian students participated in an engaging Kahoot quiz prepared by our students in their “English” classes, demonstrating all they had learned about us.
This initial experience was a great success, and we hope our students thoroughly enjoyed and learned from it. We look forward to the next video calls, when our students will have the chance to know more about Brazilian and Indian cultures.
