Chumvi hamper raffle: IA also gives out excitement on 22 December!

As we have already told you in different communications, as well as in our last newsletter, during the month of December we have been doing our own Christmas campaign. The aim of the campaign was to raise funds to continue caring for “our yellow class” in the village of Chumvi, where the NGO Idea Libre is doing a wonderful job.

All our students and staff got down to work and sold ballots to enter our BIG Christmas raffle. A raffle that consisted of raffling some wonderful hampers created by the whole IA family… with a generosity of all our school families that makes us feel very proud and fortunate to always count on you so much.

The raffle was held on the 22nd of December (it couldn’t be any other day!), so from the school, we were also able to give out a little bit of excitement and emotion on that mythical day. Our master of ceremonies, Miguel A., presented the event on our instagram account @internacional_aravaca and it was there where we handed out all the hampers, with the wonderful help of our students who were taking the numbers out of the hampers. If you haven’t seen the event, we invite you to follow us on this social network and watch the live video that is saved in the video section.

The prizes (we had 6 wonderful hampers!) are already in the homes of the lucky winners and the school is very happy to, once again, have been able to help our yellow Chumvi class. We will soon know how much we have raised and will be able to give you more information on how we can further improve our support for the children in the yellow class.

THANK YOU AND MORE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!
