Inktober Challenge
Throughout October, a group of middle and high school students took part in the Inktober challenge, meeting daily during their morning break to complete a drawing each day. Inktober is an annual worldwide art challenge where participants create an ink drawing every day in October. The initiative brought together students from different grades, providing a space for them to focus on their art and share ideas. The daily sessions helped students stay engaged with the challenge while balancing their school responsibilities.
Inktober offered these students more than just an opportunity to improve their drawing skills. It taught them important lessons about commitment and time management, as they fit creative work into their busy schedules. By experimenting with different approaches to the daily themes, they also developed problem-solving skills and learned to express their ideas with more confidence. The experience gave them insight into the discipline required for creative projects. Additionally, sharing ideas with peers from different grades was an enriching experience, allowing them to learn from each other’s perspectives and approaches to creativity.
