Madrid Olympic Community

Madrid Olympic Community is a school badminton programme organized by “Comunidad de Madrid” supporting the principle that children should lead a healthy and active life, both in an out of the school. This time we had the pleasure to host Breixo, a national coach who delivered some interesting badminton lessons to our 5th and 6th grade students to provide them with a positive image of badminton through many opportunities to have fun, engage with other and experience success. Since the beginning of the school year this programme has been introduced in over 100 schools all over Madrid and we had the opportunity to be one of the selected schools to take part in the activity.

After seeing how much the kids enjoyed these badminton lessons we are looking forward to participating in the tournament that the Badminton Federation will organize in May and where all the schools involved in the programme will compete.

Such a great experience that we hope to repeat next year!
