The games of the good treatment and what I can do when I am angry
In Infantil, we have been working on ‘Treating each other well games’ and ‘What can I do when I am angry?
The children have been able to differentiate what it means to treat each other well and what it is to treat each other badly.
In class they are working on the rule ‘If you treat me badly, I won’t play with you, and I will play with you when you treat me well’. This is a way for children to start setting boundaries and expressing their needs from a young age.
‘What can I do when I am angry?’
With this activity, we work on emotional regulation. This activity helps them to express their anger in a correct way. Also, it helps them understand that when they are very angry or furious, it is not convenient to make decisions or do things. It is better to wait until they are calmer.
The activity consisted of talking about anger, drawing pictures of what makes us feel angry, thinking of resources on what to do when we are angry.
