Halloween 2024

Halloween is a holiday celebrated annually on October 31st, and it is an exciting time for people of all ages. This holiday is known for its spooky decorations, costumes, and trick-or-treating. However, Halloween is not just about the fun of dressing up and eating candy.

It is also an excellent opportunity to bring students together and create a positive and memorable experience for them at school, providing an opportunity for students to learn about different cultures and traditions, as well as to explore their creativity and imagination.

Our preschoolers immersed themselves in a Halloween sensory experience filled with thrilling textures and surprises! The children explored a series of Halloween-themed sensory stations that invited them to touch, see, and discover new sensations.

The spooky adventure began as they searched for hidden toy bugs and eyes nestled within slimy, dyed spaghetti, squealing with excitement as they uncovered each creepy item. In another corner, a “spider web bucket” glowing with eerie lights captured their attention, creating a magical atmosphere. At the “Spider Hunt” station, children carefully rescued spiders hidden in salty webs, using tweezers to pluck each one out from the yarn-wrapped table setup.

Finally, they marveled at the “Salted Bugs” station, where vibrant, colored salt surrounded small jars filled with Halloween-themed items like bugs and mini skulls, adding a touch of mystery and fascination to their sensory exploration.

Our primary students took part in the traditional gymkhana, where 1st and 2nd ESO students joined us this year. For the House competition we have prepared a lot of spooky and fun games. We enjoyed some themed activities and our teachers this year are witches and wizards, so students could choose to go to the different rooms in the witch’s house and enjoy a spooky experience.

The winner of this year’s House Competition is…. The Blue House. Congratulations Blue House!
Overall, we had a spooktacular time!
