Great mini-scientists and spectacular travelers in Australia
We are heartbroken, on the one hand we are looking forward to our vacation, but on the other hand, we are very sad to end this year’s camp in which we have had such a great time.
Last week the little ones became scientists to discover the magic of colors using the scientific method. They discovered how with only three colors we can get many more, for this they have used play dough, watercolors, dyes etc.. These days they have also experimented with flour, cocoa and other products discovering new textures and changes of matter. The experiment they liked the most was the volcano experiment, did you know that with lemon, vinegar and baking soda we can make some really cool volcanoes at home?
The older children of IA camp traveled to Australia during these days and have been able to discover part of their culture but above all many games and sports of this part of the world. Last Tuesday they did a rugby training like the great champions of the All Blacks. The rest of the week they did arts and crafts, gymkhanas, water games and various recipes. As usual, on Wednesday they went to the Somontes swimming pool to take refuge from the high temperatures under water. On Friday to close the week they learned a Maori dance and did an Olympics with typical Australian games.
We wish you all a happy summer, see you next summer.
