Fourth year of Eco-school: Sustainable Consumption
It is incredible, but we are already in our fourth yearEco-School and we have started with renewed strength. As soon as we arrived, all the primary school children got to work in the garden, planting our autumn crops that we will harvest in winter…well, with the permission of some adorable caterpillars that are eating all our cauliflowers and red cabbages.
Fortunately, the Early Years students have inaugurated their garden and have planted some lettuces that we hope our new tenants don’t like.
We will explain in more detail, but this year, with the help of Eco-School, we will focus all our efforts on being better consumers; this will be our theme: responsible consumption. Therefore, one of the first actions proposed by Eco-School is to have a more sustainable Halloween, changing the typical decorations bought in bazaars for others made by ourselves. Thanks to children and families this year the classrooms have been terrifyingly beautiful. If you want to know more, click here, we will send you to the Ecoescuela’s blog.
