When do we feel safe?
Within the school, activities are carried out continuously to safeguard the safety of the students.
In 1st and 2nd Primary we have carried out different activities by reading a story about emotions and the feeling of safety.
They have made different drawings about how the body feels when we are safe, when we feel respected and listened to; what things help us to feel safe and secure inside the school and which people we can ask for help when there is something that is not pleasant for us.
We share with you a sample of the artistic creations that everyone has made in different classes. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
On the other hand, from 3rd to 6th grade, the teachers have given a presentation in which they have taught them to reflect on what makes them feel good and what doesn’t, to distinguish between what makes them feel safe and what doesn’t, and they have taught them to ask for help when something happens that doesn’t make them feel happy, safe, and secure. That’s what all the teachers at the school and their family members are here for!
We encourage you to talk about this at home and continue to transmit the importance of feeling safe at school!
Best regards,
Patricia N.
