Creative Reading&Writing Club
After carrying out last year the final PYP project on Writing , a group of MYP students have led the organization of a Reading and Writing Club in the library. They have recruited stage mates interested in contributing their time and love of books. The club began with the reading of one of Mark Twain’s funniest works, The Diary of Adam and Eve, and has continued with the discovery of an interactive reading book by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, A Scandal in Bohemia. When I ask them why they want to enjoy reading, Luna answers, “I like to experience what the authors are
telling. Books, if they entertain you, are a door to other worlds”. With this magnificent
proposal they have transformed the library into a safe and welcoming space, where they can share their concerns and ideas. We are eager to investigate and turn the library into a laboratory of fantasy, discovery and fun.
