This month whilst studying “Comparatives and Superlatives” 1ºESO have also been learning about different languages and the skills required to be a good language student. In small groups the students chose a language to research. The chosen languages were not surprisingly English, Spanish, French and Italian. The students found out how many countries spoke each language, the economic “power” of each language and the perceived difficulty of learning each language. The children also looked at cultural aspects of each language and each country. They then produced a poster for their language.
