Last Tuesday we went to an amazing farm in Chapinería, El Palomar. Children had the opportunity to enjoy nature on a sunny day seeing and stroking some animals. We were amazed at the sight of falcons flying over our heads, or meeting wild animals like a huge tortoise, a sleepy iguana, a cute Scops owl and even slimy snakes . Some children had the chance to hold a falcon with a special leather glove and they also rode on a pony.

From meerkats, foxes, prairie dogs, monkeys, llamas, otters…to a Visigoth settlement, an enriched environment which made the wonders of the wee ones, and they all had different workshops ( dried flowers, bread, muffins and lollipops).

It was an outdoor learning experience that children won’t forget!
