One of the responsibilities that international Aravaca has with their students, is to train citizens who can integrate and respond to the demands that society requests, displaying the digital competencies expected from them. For this reason, it is essential to be at the forefront of new technologies and evolve at the same speed as our society does.
The use of iPads allows us to implement new methodologies as Flipped Classroom, PBL (project based learning), CBL (challenges-based learning), Gamification, Cooperative Work, where all students apply either a Learning by Doing or a Learning by Teaching method, with the aim of achieving a meaningful learning.. These methodologies promote and increase creativity, innovation, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, communication, collaboration skills and teamwork, which are an essential part of our student’s training.
Nowadays, a smartphone, a tablet, a social network or any everyday IT device of regular consumption by the school population, can be used effectively to promote useful and functional learning.
